Q:
What brand ironsand does it match with? I was trying to find some matching paint and the paint shop showed me several different shades, e.g. resene iron sand is different from the colour steel iron sand. Thanks
A:
This is our own "Ironsand," and it may look different from the Resene and Coloursteel "Ironsand"-named colours. The best bet is to have the store match a paint to a part of your shed if you can bring it into them. Or else get the closest colour from the colour charts or testpots

Q:
Hi can the single door on the side come with a double door instead? Also can you purchase windows, louvres or clearlite/skylight to modify? Cheers
A:
We just sell our sheds as the advertised kit sorry. You could change or add to your shed as much as you need, but it will need to be a D.I.Y. job or have chat to a local builder/handyperson

Q:
Does this shed need a permit?
A:
This area measures 13.68m², so in most cases you don't need a permit. It's still best to double-check with your local council for specific rules for your area

Q:
Can you put both doors in the long side?
A:
You could do, but it's not a simple swap of the parts and you will need to do some DIY work.

Q:
Can you put a window intothis
A:
As this is a kitset, this is not designed to come with a window however I am sure you could add one in, it would be best to speak to a builder to see how this could be done.

Workshop Shed 3.07 x 4.59 x 2.17 Ironsand

Really disappointed with this purchase as some of the wall panels were all scratched and the hardware provided is really cheap and not all screws and bolts were given. It is a very flimsy shed that will need 4x2 timber to help brace it as the metal stays given are really flimsy.

Iron Sand shed construction

The floor and the shed arrived together. The instructions need to be rewritten, to reflect images that can be improved. However, the shed can be completed for those capable of DIY. I built in in a few days. I am pleased with the shed and it is waterproof. The wooden floor provided was adequate for the shed.

Good quality shed, relatively easy to assemble. Found the YouTube clips that also helped.

Garden Shed

We had this shed erected by a builder and are pleased with results. He reported it as “difficult to follow instructions especially for any DIY person “ but as he is a professional builder he was able to erect it assisted by his junior helper without too much hassle. We love the colour as it blends in well with our property and there’s plenty of room inside for our tools, garden stuff and rideon lawnmower. We also added guttering to connect to a small water tank for garden water supply

Poor structure

Not good quality. Structurally poor. I had to buy a post to support the beam from sagging. Not ideal. Instruction are really bad and the pictures in the instructions don't help because they are black and white and pixelated. I brought this because I had brought a tradetested shed in the past that was pretty good quality, unfortunately the new shed was a far inferior design.

Great value for the price

This shed is a good size for our storage requirements. It's a kitset so can be a bit fiddly to assembly but that's what you expect when you buy a kitset. Was strong when assembled with no flexing movement which is common in some sheds. Generally, a good product for the price.

Instructions/missing pieces.

This has been a complete nightmare with the instructions that are provided. Theyre hard to understand. Along with the wooden flooring. There wasnt enough screws to anchor the shed down to the wooden floor that i purchased at the same time.
