The set comes with a single wall mount so you can easily attach it to the side of your house. Or alternatively get an extra wall mount then you can simply clip it on when you need to water a separate part of your garden. Each mount can rotate up to 180 degrees making it super easy to reel back in.

The unit is made from Anti-UV Polypropylene, so it will last for years. While the upgraded, heavy-duty spring is designed to ensure reliability and longevity. The UV protected anti-kink PVC hose comes with all the standard fittings you’ll need to get the water running immediately.

The advertised description says: " Includes standard anti-kink hose and fittings", but your answer to two related questions indicates that it is not an anti-kink hose, which is correct?
A:
The hose is reinforced so it will kink up less than a standard garden hose. That is not to say that it is immune to kinking up though.

The Screw holes for the wall mount are 70mm wide by 164mm tall.

Yes, I can confirm this comes with one Mounting bracket. We have them available for purchase separately too, if you would like an extra spot around the garden for it

Can the hose be replaced if it gets damaged or would the whole unit require replacing?
A:
The hose inside this unit is held by a large wound spring and this makes it quite difficult to repair or replace the hose fully. In most cases, we recommend that you replace the full unit

A:
This will fit 1/2" attachments.

Is it possible to replace the hose that connects to the tap with one longer than 2 metres? So I can have it wall mounted further away from the tap.
A:
Its all one piece of hose, so it's the end of the hose in the reel, ie not separate. But it has a standard fitting, so you could just get a Gardena hose coupler and connect another hose to the existing piece to extend it.

A:
Not really, we'd be surprised though - we haven't had a retracting mechanism fail in 4 years of stocking these!

Yes, as long as the fittings are the correct size.

Can the unit be locked to a wall so its secure and can't be lifted off? Thanks
A:
No it's not lockable, but if it's a concern it's very easy to lift it off and put it in the shed until you need it.

Relieved how good this works

Have been using this for over a month now with no issues. Retracts well and seems to be really robust. Popped a spray gun on the end which made it even better. Such a relief as most retractable hose reel reviews I have read have been really poor, so I was thinking the worst. Pleasantly surprised, especially as this is one of the lower cost options available.

Been using the 30 metre retractable hose most days for the last month, the retracting is excellent, I release the spring and it winds in at a brisk walking pace, so easy, convenient and tidy. I've had no problem with it. So for the price, it's a solid purchase, if you need a retractable hose I can recommend this one from Trade Tested.

Dissapointing

We purchased 2 of these approx 22 months ago & it has been very disappointing. Our previous Gardena hose lasted 14-15 years, we replaced it with this. This hose bends easily & sometimes jams when retracting, the Gardena performs better. But worse; in the 1st year it pulled out of the concrete wall due to the cheap attachments. It was re-attached with better quality attachment, but the base/wall plate is damaged now & it came off the wall again - this time hitting me in the face (unlucky), & leaving me with a cut, bruise & bent glasses. We will be buying a Gardena to replace this & not buy this brand again. To be fair, we have bought quite a few products from Trade Tested & have been pleased with those (& the prompt delivery) electric lawnmower, leave blower & trimmer, wooden table & chairs.
