Product overview

Cut down on rubbish disposal costs & add some nutrient-filled organic fertilizer to your garden with this unique dual-chamber tumbling compost bin.

While saving you money on commercial composts or manure, your home-made compost will improve soil quality and the microflora of your garden, making it healthier, more productive and easier to work with.

This tumbling compost bin has a unique dual-chamber design to turn garden waste into nutritious compost with no composting downtime. The 2 chamber design allows you to fill one side while the other is curing.

Rotating your compost speeds up the process by letting in fresh air to supply the oxygen needed for bacterial activity. Give it a tumble using the handy 360 degree rotation every two or three days to help aerate it. The built-in mixing bar and internal churners help break up clumps so your compost stays loose for optimal airflow.

The drum of this unit is fully enclosed so that your compost stays warm and won’t dry out, and is safe from getting soggy when it rains. Made from 70% recycled plastic, the drum is also UV protected to stop strong sunlight from killing the bacteria your compost needs. The large sliding front openings allow easy access, but close securely to keep in odours and keep out insects and animals.

For the best composting system around, try a dual-chamber tumbling composter today!

Q:
Do you have to physically move compost from one chamber to another ?
A:
No, the compost chambers are separate. This allows you to have two different composts going at once, fill up one side first then as it's breaking down you can fill up the other side

Q:
How is the best way to start making compost, is there a good ratio?
A:
You will need a good 50/50 mix of Carbon (Leaves, sticks, twigs, newspaper, etc) and Nitrogen (Fruit and vegetable kitchen scraps, lawn clippings, egg shells, coffee grounds, tea bags) and avoid adding any meat, dairy or bread. I keep my garden waste bin, next to my compost and whenever a scoop of Kitchen waste goes in I balance that with a scoop of Garden waste. Add some existing compost to the bin to begin the process, giving the good bacteria a jump start. The content of your compost bin should have the consistency of a damp sponge. If your compost gets a bit too wet, adding some dry paper will help soak up excess water.

Great tumbler

Working really fast. First side gets tumbled every time l load the second so mixes really well. Heats up well so no more viable seeds in my compost. 10y old had fun assembling it so not difficult and seems pretty sturdy.

Quite good composting bin

Looks really nice and works really well. Didn't exactly have clear instructions to it took a couple hours to build by myself. And nearer end you need a larger screwdriver other than the one provided

Great compost bin

This rotating compost bin ticks all the boxes. It takes all the food scraps etc that we produce and it creates great compost. This bin is good as it is off the ground and the rats and mice cannot get into it to eat the food scraps. So no more surprises when you lift the lid of the old style compost bin. Easy to construct just follow the plans. Definitely recommend this product.
