Containing no biocides, the clear finish of this oil is food safe once cured and water repellent, so will stand up to any drink spills.
This microporous oil allows your timber furniture to breathe, reducing both swelling and shrinkage, minimizing risk of cracking and peeling due to water damage.
Easy to maintain with a single coat applied to the clean and dry surface of your timber, and easy to maintain with a 3-6 month recoat time, depending on UV and weather exposure.

TIPS & TRICKS:
• Any existing film forming product (such as Danish Oil etc) already on the timber may need sanding off before applying the Garden Furniture Oil
• Generally no sanding is needed when recoating unless timber is badly scratched
• Existing finishes such as wood oils which are not film forming should just need a clean before applying Garden Furniture Oil
• Osmo recommend doing a suitability test first on all timbers which have previously been finished with another product
• Being a clear finish, Osmo Garden Furniture Oil has no UV stability
• Apply to a clean and dry surface
• Recoat using a brush or oil dampened rag as and when needed

Last summer (2023) we purchased a small outdoor wooden table made of eucalyptus. This year the table obviously looked as if the wood needed some nourishing, so we looked at various oils available, being somewhat skeptical about ordering this oil as it seemed expensive. However, we have been pleasantly surprised how well the oil has done the job on the table, we intend to use it on other outdoor wooden furniture as well.
