The Orca® 1kg dry powder fire extinguisher is a portable unit which can be conveniently located around the home. These extinguishers allow for immediate control of smaller fires before they become out of control.
One thing to note is that ABE dry powder extinguishers can be dangerous to use on cooking oil and fat fires as pressure from the extinguisher can cause the fire to spread. An effective alternative in these situation is to use a fire blanket such as the ORCA 1m x 1m Fire Blanket.

Hope I never have to use it but it is there if I do.
I bought the 1kg fire extinguisher for my boat as its a great size and fits well along with the other one we have .
the product looks as it was described. It is compact so it is easy to pop into the kitchen cupboard.
