Very happy with this filter

I bought this filter as I had realised for a while that my filter was insufficient. The trigger was when we were away for a week and came back to a green pool. This filter is really very powerful (maybe too powerful as I came to wonder if the algae couldn't clump up enough for the filter to catch it because of the strong jet in the pool). I had a lot of trouble getting the pool sorted, and ultimately it was other things (chemicals and manually removing sediment and particles with filter nets bought on aliexpress) that did it. I wished I had investigated sand filters before I bought this, but ultimately, it has done what it says it would (pump lots of water) so it gets 4 stars.

We are so delighted with the Bestway pool pump.So easy to fit and operate.Cleaned the pool in two days.We had used the sand filter that came with the Intex pool but was totally unsuitable.All hoses swapped easily.Trade Tested have been awesome to deal with.

Was so worried about buying this filter rather than a sand filter for our bestway pool. However bit the bullet and purchased after reading similar reviews and it has been amazing. Circulates the water effectively and ensures the chlorine is mixed through maintaining the perfect level

Really powerful pump like x4 times the litres per hour much better than the standard pumps you get with small pool set ups

I bought this filter for our 16000 litre above ground pool after our last filter ( 58389 Bestway 1500Gal Filter Pump) crapped put after a few months. This pump has been great for this sized pool, good strong suction to keep our pool nice and clean. The only downside is that sometimes the suction causes a small whirlpool above the filter which can be noisy, otherwise would definitely recommend as it seems to be a great value for money pump and filter.

I am beyond happy with this pump. Simple on/off operation. Very powerful, effective pump engine. I just hose the filter out about once a week and use again. I've got beautiful clear, clean water in my pool even though I'm using a discolored irrigation water source. This pump is so much better than my old sand filter one.

Original pump that came with the new pool nowhere near powerful enough and died after a couple of weeks just before Christmas. This pump is super efficient and the pool has never looked so good. Even with 8 children and numerous toys in the pool, the water is clean and everyone is happy! Many thanks

The pump is not suitable for a larger pool, more suited fir a small pool.
