A good product for my property, stainless steel so should handle the weather better than the previous galvanised one. Quite a light gauge stainless though.

Stainless gate latch

Latch is solid and appears of good quality. I installed using SS screws also. Have dad enough of the cheap zinc ones rusting in less than 6 months.

After using several cheaper zinc plated ones that rapidly rust, I’m very happy with the stainless ones. Well worth the extra cost.
