The HY7524 is a highly capable 750W direct-drive oil-free low noise air compressor from Hyundai.
The HY7524 is a highly capable 750W direct-drive oil-free low noise air compressor from Hyundai.
Designed for both DIY and light-duty trade applications the HY7524 silenced oil-free air compressor is ideal for spray-painting, blowing away dirt and dust, nailing, inflating tyres or operating air tools.
Weighing only 22kg the HY7524 whisper compressor is lighter than your conventional piston type air compressor and is completely oil-free, so there is no risk of oil contamination in the air supply.
The HY7524 features 2 large wheels and 2 robust rubber mounted feet and a handle for easy manoeuvrability.
Powered by a 750W motor directly connected to the oil-less pump mounted on anti-vibration rubber mounts, it’s ideal for the home workshop or garage use where conventional residential power sockets are available.
This maintenance-free compressor uses an oil-free diaphragm pump to produce a clean air supply and considerably reduce noise compared to conventional piston compressors.
With a 24L tank capacity, this compressor provides an air displacement of 5.2CFM/ 150 litres per minute and a discharge pressure of 7 bar/ 100 psi.
The pressure control system automatically stops and starts the motor to maintain the pressure in the air tank and comes with a twin gauge air pressure regulator.
Fitted with Euro quick release connectors this compressor is fitted with a standard 10A NZ plug.

changed the fittings hooked up 2 empty 9kg lpg tanks to give me extra capacity when i need it for air tools
Was looking for a compressor for air dusting and light air tool work that was portable and this one fits the bill perfectly. Very quiet and quality seems good. Trade tested service was great, would recommend
Bought this for smaller jobs. Being off grid totally also meant the shed ended up having its own inverter system, just was easier. So having a lower wattage compressor (750W) serves well. I can blow out filters, clean down stuff and run small air tools like ratchets etc. Most of my air tools are 3/8 drive. Just remember you don't have a big reserve of air and it won't catch up if constantly in use. You can't 'cause it's small! The cut-in pressure is really too low for my use and can't be changed unless you try messing with the regulator spring tension, wouldn't recommend that? It's light, surprisingly quiet and as long as you're not expecting it to supply a constant air pressure above 90-100psi it's great and I am pleased with the purchase.
Excellent build quality, great price, fast delivery & does everything I need it to do. If I can pick fault with anything (hence the 4 star rating and not 5), its that the couplings are Euro fast flow, and not immediately compatible with NZ equipment. But a quick trip to the local hardware store to change them over fixes that. Ive opted to buy my tools from the UK and so have no complaints.
Great little compressor. Meets our needs. Very quiet to run
works well, used for spraying and general garage use
Great little unit, easy to assemble. Great for all your home projects
Quietest compressor we have, and we have a few for work. Great pressure and great price point.
Genuinely impressed with how quiet this unit is. Can run it anytime I need for as long as I want and the neighbours wouldn't even know it was on, which important when living in terraces. Done a lot of soda blasting so far. It's a small unit, so I have to allow for it to refill regularly, but space was a key consideration, so I'm happy to be patient and work methodically rather than fast. Also has a water trap built in, so the air is always dry - which is essential. Would recommend changing the two outlet fittings from Euro to Aro or 1/4in though. Makes life a lot easier when buying tools etc...
Seems pretty good so far, nothing at al to complain about.
