What can air compressors be used for?

Air compressors are primarily used for powering air tools, such as air drills, air hammers, air hoses, duster guns, and air wrenches. They're also ideal for spray painting, cleaning, and inflating items like tyres, sports equipment, air mattresses and pool floats.

What types of air compressors are available?

The Hyundai Super Silent Oil-Free range features compressors with a direct-drive motor, automatic cut-out switch, safety valve, and pressure regulator. These powerful compressors range from 8L to 100L, providing options for industrial, garage, farm, and DIY home use. Each compressor comes with a 2-year Hyundai warranty for peace of mind.

Our other models are ideal for inflating tyres and toys. The Makita and Greenworks compressor skins require batteries that you can use for other tool skins for convenience.

What size compressor do I need for home use?

The size of your compressor depends on the tools or accessories you plan to run. Check the air requirements of your tools before you select a compressor. Generally, a small compressor with a 100psi/8L tank is suitable for home DIY use, but you may want something more powerful depending on your goals.

How do I maintain an air compressor?

Our air compressors are entirely powered by electricity, so they're easy to maintain—no oil changes required. To keep your Hyundai air compressor in peak performance, open the drain knob at the bottom of the tank to drain any excess water and regularly remove dust from the air filter. If you need to clean the exterior of the compressor, use water only. We recommend covering the compressor while in storage to prevent it from collecting dust and moisture.

What accessories should I buy for an air compressor?

Air hoses are a must for connecting your compressor to your tools. We offer classic fitted options and space-saving retractable hoses in sizes from 10m to 30m.
