The tiles were cleverly designed but more detailed instructions would assist prospective customers to install them.
Easy to fit looks tidy
Shingles look great and the they were easily installed coming in 1m strips. They have self adhesive on the underside however I used some "no more nails" glue to add more adhesive resiliance. The glue does discolour the texture so make sure it doesn't seep on the outside of the shingle.
Its a nice product - but does not cover what it says it does. ours was 12 meters square and it took not quite 7 packs so not economical would have been better off to get a corrogated roof at a third of the price - also the price they charge for the courier
Bought these for my stand alone workshop roof, they were easy to install and look fantastic. Absolutely weathertight, we've had heaps of torrential rain and strong winds. I had issues them what so ever. They look super expensive but are a very good price. Quality at an affordable price they look great. We'll done TradeTested :-)
5 packs to do a 3 x 3.9m cabin - so get them all at once, or they kill you with courier fees. turned the roof into a $1000 exercise,
The product definitely serves the purpose of providing an elegant looking roof for a small shed (one pack just about covers a roof of 3 sq. m. depending on the length and width of the shed). What was lacking is instruction on laying the tiles although there are Youtube clips on this if you were to find the right type. I laid them over an 18 mm plywood (treated for outdoor use) and had to hunt around for 12 mm tacks to nail down the sheets. In addition the sheets come with a self adhesive backing which is not that effective. Once again short nails (tacks) are the answer. Another negative is that it only comes in packs of $150 each. There is no option to buy a few extra sheets if your roof is say slightly larger than 3.0 sq.m.
Despite a lack of prior information about what these actually looked like and how to fix them, installation has been straight forward. The glue line along the bottom of the strip has proved to be very sticky - in fact too sticky when installing in the direct sun!
I was absolutely thrilled to find these on line. They were exactly what we needed to patch the roof of our deer shed.
I only received on bag of shingles. This roof requires 3 bags of shingle tiles to complete the roof. Disappointed that 3 packets of tiles was not advertised for this type of shed
