FIT TO FIGHT; BUILT TO LAST: The colour coated steel finish provides water and rust resistance for a lifetime. Super-strong galvanised steel construction with high-tensile box and band tubing withstands moderate to high wind conditions.

HIGH ROOF, OPEN PLAN: Economical solution to protecting your car, van or trailer from the weather while retaining airflow and accessibility. Its roof stands 2.5m off the ground allowing most vehicles to park comfortably.

EASY TO ASSEMBLE: Framework slots together tube-to-tube, with base rail assembly. All parts pre-cut and ready for screwing together. Includes galvanised steel ground rails which can be anchored to the ground.

TRANSPORTABLE: Should you need to move the shelter, simply remove any ground pegs, disassemble the structure, and shift the parts to the next location. Modular design separates into sections for easier handling. Combines the strength of a permanent building with the flexibility of a portable structure.

Is the internal height of 2.5m from the base to the connection of the supporting diagonal brace across the back ? ?
A:
Sorry, it's a little complicated with the sloping roof. The Internal height below the diagonal brace is 2340mm at the high end and about 2m on the low side. We have detailed structural drawings with further measurements, please contact our sales team if you want a copy before you purchase.

It's under 20m2, so you should be fine, but as always we recommend checking with your local council.

We don't have sides available for this carport, we do sell a Single Garage that is fully enclosed with a roller door if you are interested.

Hi can I cut this down to about 3.4 long and 2.4 wide
A:
You could, however we only sell this as a Kitset so we cannot give guidance on how to cut this down. We would recommend speaking to a local builder to get some expert help on how to make this happen.

How is it pegged to the ground?

We always recommend securing the carport on a concrete slab, there are brackets attached to the frame and masonry ground anchors supplied.

The roofing is too short for the frame. The roofing is more like fibreglass than poly. Unsuitable for NZ climate, don't expect it to last long. The frame is good.

The non permanent carport to get

I didn't want to get a fixed/permanent carport and after searching long and hard, this was the best option. It's quite sturdy and heavy so the frame isn't weak. Two guys erected it and found it fairly easy to do. I'd like to have some side cover from the top down about 80cms or so but that would have meant more parts ergo higher price so obviously not included. Value for money? Yes.

Unit was straight forward to assemble, we used it to cover a decking, not as a carport. Because of the straight forward design we were able to fit pvc roller blinds without to much trouble. Overall am happy with the product.
