You could do this as they are not required to build this. But they do provide some reinforcing/strength and if you wanted to remove all shelves I would suggest adding some reinforcement.

No, this is shipped as a "flatpack" and will need full assembly. Tools needed are a Phillips Screwdriver and an M10 wrench/socket.

Assembling the 2 door Metal Cabinet

The metal is quite thin and I found some slightly dented parts when I opened the box, so had to panel beat (with protective tape) the base before assembly. I left the door leaf dents as they don't affect the operation of the doors. It would also be good if the supplier published the assembly instruction sheets for purchasers to see how it all goes together. Be careful to match the sides otherwise the back panels screw holes won't match the sides. Altogether quite a neat unit.

One of the Units was badly bent and we had to straighten it, but other than that they do the job and are good.
