Wooden Sandpit with Seats 1.6m x 1.6m

Great product. Kids love it. Cover and seating arrangements very good.

Great sandpit and perfect size for two kids to have fun in, really love the design of the cover how it also folds into study seats. Was easy enough to put together diy , you will need to pre drill holes. only down side when unpacked I was missing two of the smaller lengths of wood. Not a problem though as had the dimensions and whipped up my own.

Great sandpit, perfect size for our needs. Was fairly complex to assemble but the instructions are pretty helpful. Definitely requires a basic set of woodworking skills though.

Really pleased with the finished product. It’s a sturdy thing that looks really tidy and is already in daily use.

I had been looking for a decent sized sandpit for some time, that would happily accommodate my 3 children. Again and again I was drawn towards Tradetested and their range, as they clearly had the best sizes and prices. My only concern was how difficult it may be to put together by my husband. I am pleased to say he found the experience very rewarding and enjoyable. The instructions were easy to follow and he had no difficulty assembling it by himself in his garage. Although it did take him a little while to complete it. The sandpit is currently just under halfway full of sand (8x 15 litre bags), as we are waiting for the weather to improve. Even half-full the kids still love playing in their sandpit. There's enough room for all of them to play independently, and also to come together to play when they choose too. It's a great sandpit for at home, great for sensory seeking children and also gives those who struggle with uneven surfaces and gritty textures, the confidence to explore. The seating is the perfect size and height for the children, along with also taking both mine and my husbands (6 foot 4 inches) weight comfortably. All in all, we are extremely happy with this purchase.

Good product. Bit of understanding of how to put together.

This sandpit was delivered as a stack of seperate pieces of timber. The entire thing had to be built from scratch. Luckily my stepdad is a builder, as it was useless to me otherwise. It is not easy to build, but once assembled it is a great size. The seats could be designed a bit stronger though as the hinges almost immediately were bent and not sitting right.

good size - took a bit to work out how to put the top/seat together but looks good and is easy to open and close. Recommend.
