These tough rubber flooring tiles let you create training and work spaces that last.

Sound absorbent, slip resistant and anti-vibration, these tiles are great for home gyms and can handle heavy equipment. Mould and mildew resistant, they're easy to clean and maintain.
No nonsense rubber construction makes them a cost effective option for workshops, garages and other high usage spaces.

The recycled rubber material contains nylon elements to greatly reduce the smell of rubber when compared to similar products (any odour will reduce over time).

Install them in a brick pattern using adhesive for the best results, they can also be cut to fit awkward corners and edges.

How would the mats hold up against an approx. 500kg deadweight e.g.) pool table on top?

This would be fine weight-wise. Note the pool table may sink in a little and after it has settled you may need to relevel it

Do you know the specifications of the rubber? would this be suitable as flooring with in a sauna?
A:
These rubber floor mats are made from recycled tyres and nylon fleck, with a density of approx 1050-1100kg/m3. For a sauna, we don't have any specs on if this will be suitable, sorry. You may want to look at our PVC flooring tiles "Interlocking PVC Floor Tiles - 12 Pack"

Q:
Hi, would this be suitable for a home gym? To use with heavy weights and activities like deadlifts and letting the weight and bar drop down without damaging the concrete floor underneath the mat?
A:
These do wear great in-home gyms. If you are using some large weights I would suggest possibly using two (or more) layers of matting under these areas to give the floor more protection.

Would these be fine to place on top of carpet? They wont move?
A:
They are fine to go over the carpet and in most cases will not move. If you are doing a lot of activity on these I would recommend installing them wall to wall to prevent movement or use a non-slip underlay.

can it be cut with suitable tool (like skill-saw or something) to reduce two lengths of 500mmX1000mm ? thanks
A:
Yes, but I would rather use something like a large craft knife with snap-off blades and a straight edge. These are not hard to cut with a very sharp blade and you will get a cleaner edge.

Is it necessary to be glued down?
A:
You do not have to glue these down and it's mostly down to your use. We recommend installing them in a brick pattern using adhesive for the best results.

Will these mark the surface they are installed on, ie if put on tiles will they leave black marks on the tile?
A:
These will not mark a hard tile surface.

Hi, is it waterproof?
A:
The tiles are made from recycled tyres so they are water-resistant, the mats can be used indoors or outdoors because of rubber’s resilience to physical wear, moisture, and contaminants.
