Q:
How long does it take to fill / how do you know when it is filled?
A:
There is no fill indicator, and the best practice is to leave this attached to a running water supply. On average, the flow rate for NZ households reaches at least 6-12 litres per minute so that's around 5-10 mins to fill this up

Q:
If you fill it up with a hose, then disconnect the hose and let the water warm up, will it still work? Or do you need the hose to always be connected and running?
A:
To use the shower you need to have the water connected and running to provide the water pressure. You could fill the unit then disconnect it to let it warm up, and when you wanted to use the shower the water would need to be connected again. Please note you would need to add an on/off valve to the water connection and it is not supplied with one.

Q:
Can it be bolted onto a moveable dolly? the only private part of our section is in the shade, so I'm thinking it would be good to be able to move it into the direct sun for several hours, then move it into the shady and private corner when needed for showering
A:
That sounds like a great idea, as long as you can keep it connected to the water supply and stable. When full this weights around 32kgs, so you will need to bolt it down to a solid dolly

Q:
Does the black pole part have to be in the sun to heat the water? Id like a privacy fence around mine so wanting to know if this design will work.
A:
Yes, to get the best out of the Solar heating you will need to have the black pole part in the sun. This product does still work by heating up from surrounding warm air, but you really need the sun on it to feel the warmth

Hello. I understand these require the pressure from a hose connected with flowing water? Can you please confirm? I was hoping to use this if the water supply was shut off/not flowing. Thank you.
A:
It has a 25l storage capacity, you will require a water source to refill this though

This is free-standing, however you need to bolt it to the surface.

Hi there , how does the tank fill up ? I’ve just installed mine and it only seems to allow water in from the hose when the shower is turned on?

After filling and allowing to heat the hose will need to turned on to generate pressure to use the shower.

25 L solar shower

Not bad Shower this one had to put some packing underneath the get it level in my pool decking. and a pvc brace on the centre of the pipe for extra support works awesome, no more visitors in and out the house using the shower, gives a good temperature to rinse off. easy to install

Sori but I was expecting something that I could use as I live off grid. However it just doesn’t work as described on a really hot day 90%sun it will only be luke warm lm almost 70 years and I still have to heat the water.
