It took the Sparrows and Silvereyes a good week to find the feeder. Once found, they have had a ball and have cleaned the coconut shell out completely! A good food supply for them during the winter and great entertainment for our cat. I would definitely recommend this product.
If your into feeding the bird life - they will love this product.
The birds are going to love this in the colder months.
Birds love it. Surprised at the different small birds that are attracted to it. Unfortunately they eat it too quickly but then I put in peanut butter or leftover cooked rice into the shell so not a wasted product which is good to know.
Our wee birds didn't take to this. Took ages for them to even try it. Normally they devour the butchery ones. Coconut a bit deep for some of them.
I found these items perfect as gifts for my grown up nephews and nieces. Who does not like to attract birds to a garden.
Birds absolutely love them...... !
We got the coconut feeder to feed the native birds instead of countless sparrows. My husband made a bespoke box and we hung the coconut feeder inside and provided protection from the larger birds with some plastic covered square netting. The wax eyes love it, we can have a dozen or more at any given time. I bought the energy cake to refill the coconut as they ate it away. Great to watch these beautiful birds.
Birds love it and it looks great coming in a coconut. Blends in to the garden well and is great for attracting the birds to your garden. Will definitely be buying this again.
Hoping the birds will use it soon.
