. This Suite and Cover will be ideal for a fully covered/partially covered patio. Unfortunately, it does not work well at all in an open outdoor space, definitely not in Wellington. Issues: 1. The cover fits the lounge suite however does not fit right down to all the corners. The elastic bottom does not work in open wind conditions. Since it does not have tie downs, the wind goes under the cover and blows it away. We've even bought ropes but it has not worked. 2. The cushions are lightweight and does not have tie backs to hold it so if there is wind and your not seated it just blows away. The design is not practical for an open outdoor area as the wooden frame/design has a lot of open gaps so the wind just blows off the cushions. We almost lost them one time as the cover got blown away in the night and the cushions with it. It was with difficulty that we were able to locate it and bring it back. 3. The wooden frame is a lovely design but as said earlier does not work in an open outdoor space. Visible cracks in less than a month even after applying a wood protector. The Velcro tie bands for the frame is insufficient and keeps separating the pieces. In a windy condition the entire frame including the coffee table moves (with or without the cover). Unfortunately, when I made the purchase this lounge suite did not have any reviews but it was big investment as we liked the look of it and the size for our out outdoor space and product description also stated that it was made to NZ weather conditions. We now have to take the cushions inside each time we use it as the cover blows and the cushions blow away. Its very difficult to keep moving these large cushions in and out and there is hardly any room inside to store 10 or more cushions. We were looking forward to enjoying the the summer and made a huge investment but we're left with a purchase that does not work for us.
Love this couch at a great price. Seems to be good quality for the price point.
This was fairly easy to put together, would be easier with two people. My helper stormed off due to the time consuming screwing which I didn't think was that much of a problem. The couch itself looks good. The on ly downfall is that the cushions are def more of a yellow colour than the beige that is stated
Couch itself if OK for the money. Some of the timber has started to crack after only 1 month outside. The table is already starting to lift and crack. I'd say the table won't last Long. Overall OK for the money
