Modulo Concrete Outdoor Dining Set

This set is super heavy and will require at least two people to put together and unpack. We were VERY IMPRESSED with the quality and look when we set it up (first photo). However the day after we put it up it rained. And the rain has stained circles on the concrete when it dried. The rain also highlighted a number of cracks on the table and benches. Some are very obvious and big. Unsure how long the table will last given the cracks in it already. Haven’t even used it yet.

The table and benches look great on our patio. We also purchased a pair of the Hourglass End Tables to use as stools to tuck under the ends. Just to echo the comments on other reviews. This is a seriously heavy unit. Assembly is at least a two-person job. We had two strong guys come and set ours up. Not because it is technically difficult to assemble (it isn't), but I'm getting on in years and heavy lifting is not my thing anymore. As per the advice from others, care needs to be taken not to scratch or chip the surface. Four stars and not five just because it's only been up a couple of days and it will be interesting to see how it weathers over time.

Be careful not to over tighten screws.

This is a serious table setting. The finish is smooth and seats are surprisingly comfortable despite the fact they're concrete. We thought we might have added cushions for comfort but they're really not needed. The topcoat feels so smooth but pretty thin so be extra careful unpacking it so edges don't get chipped. You'll have a serious amount of packaging to deal with. We ended up with a trip to the dump. You'll need two people to put the sections together. Once in its place it looks terrific. We've decided we'll have to sell the house with the table, or the table with the house because we wouldn't want to move it again.
