Cobblestone Lane Water Feature with Solar Pump

The bottom of the catchment tray had a couple of small holes, Ive had to fibreglass over to fix. Then once running the layer of paint below the water spout lifted and peeled off. The solar panel is a good size and this works well.

After only one day of operation, the paint on this item began flaking off in large swathes, which was more than disappointing. There does not appear to be any sealer or undercoat on the water tray, allowing the paint just to peel off. My concern then was that particles of paint would clog the pump filter and cause even more problems. I decided to strip off the paint, seal and undecoat with an excellent waterproof product, and repaint. The solar panel and the pump are excellent - my husband mounted the panel flat on a post to maximize sunlight. I'm hoping we have solved the paint problem, but it was disappointing to have to go to this trouble on a new item - the products purchased were not cheap! If you intend to invest in this water feature, just be aware of issues of 'bits' falling off. I have since embellished the centre with paua chips, very attractive, especially at night A huge big thank you to Trade Tested for excellent prompt service.

As good as it looks in the website photos. Took a while to get it working - the instructions on the pump and the diagram do not help - but works fine.

Water feature arrived quickly, and despite it being well packed has paint chopped off 2 corners when we unboxed it. The first time we used it, the paint came off the trough part under the tap. You can't really see it unless you are up close, but still a bit disappointing. I hope the paint stays on the rest of it.

Exactly what I was looking for

I was surprised at how lightweight the water feature is, easy to set up and looks awesome. The solar lightning is a nice feature, and the solar panel is a good size and sees good water flow out of the spout. It really makes our outdoor space look and feel great. I am really thrilled with my purchase and thank you Tradetested.
