Hi.. how to maintain & protect the bamboo fence look and increase durability ? Do you recommend any after care oil or product ? Thankyou
A:
Just some basic maintenance is needed. It's good to keep this clean, dry, and free of debris as much as possible you can just give it a water blast down or use an outdoor cleaner. You can also stain and oil this if you wish, you can use the Curtek Oil we offer or else the commercial stains and oils are great here too.

You mentioned max diameter of bamboo being 40mm, what would the minimin be please?
A:
It is approx 15mm. As the bamboo is naturally grown and not machined to size, there can be a bit of variation in width

Can you trim these down to suit the height you need?
A:
We would not recommend this. The bamboo has been dried so it would be at risk of splitting. You might also have an issue with trying to cut the bamboo as it is a very hard material to cut through.

Yes, this could be attached to a corrugated fence. You have a few different mounting options, so it would be best to do a little research to see what fits your needs and fence best

What is the best way to attach it to an existing fence?
A:
It depends on the type of fence really, you could drill (carefully) and screw it, add heavy staples or screw thread eybolts to the fence and fasten it using wire or similar. There are some good solutions online, so it might pay to do some research for your exact set up, fence material etc.

Brought this as a privacy screen for our deck area. Looked around other building materials merchants, cheap options with small flimsy bamboo pieces. The quality of this for the price is the best I have seen in the market. The bamboo pieces are big enough to screw through to fix securely onto the fence, well made, sturdy and provides that extra bit of privacy. Very happy with the purchase, it will definitely last.

Sturdy and Effective

Used and an alternative to brush privacy fencing that is either cheaper & flimsy or very expensive & light blocking. Fitted over existing paling /baton eyesore fence. Bamboo tubes sturdy enough to drill/nail ever 250 mm horizontally and 3 nails vertically. really tidied up an old see through fence line.
