It's hard to say, although it's a stainless steel top, the weight and radiated heat would perhaps become an issue. So on balance we wouldn't recommend.

The stainless steel top is rubbish. First one started rusting within 3/4 months and the replacement is doing the same poor quality stainless steel.

This is an excellent bbq table. I was looking high and low for one that isn't made of wood (avoid upkeep) and had a stainless steel top. I'm so happy with this, it is easy to clean, no maintenance needed and is the perfect compact size for our balcony
