Product overview

Create the stunning, multi-use outdoor area you’ve always wanted with this sleek, architectural louvre roof.

The integrated crank system allows you to easily and smoothly open or adjust the louvres. Open it right up and enjoy that perfect Kiwi summers day or keep it closed when the weather is changeable - the integrated gutters and internal downpipes make this roof system truly all-weather.

The crisp white powder coat finish and contemporary style blends well with most outdoor areas, while the straightforward instructions make this a great DIY upgrade. The built-in gutters feature hidden outlets through the foot of each pole, letting the water disperse without the need for ugly pipework everywhere.

With its strong aluminium frame, louvres and galvanised fittings this roof system is built to last, while being easy to clean and maintain.

Each bank of louvres is operated by a separate gear crank system, so you really can tailor the shade to your needs. Keep one half cool and shady, then open the other side to vent the BBQ.

This amazing value free-standing system is the ideal way to add some architectural style to decks, patios, pool areas or any other area that you want to transform into a stunning outdoor living room.

☆ Note on accessory compatibility: Blinds are compatible with this Louvre Roof System on all sides and shutters panels can be positioned anywhere as this model features centrally mounted cranks. Both accessories replace the corner bracket during installation. For 4m sides (3.7m post to post) use a single 3.7m blind or up three 1.23m shutters. For 3m sides (2.7m post to post), use a single 2.7m blind or up to three 0.9m shutters. Treat 6m long sides as 2 x 3m sides for blinds & shutters. See images above for more details.

Q:
What is best for windy days; shutters or blinds? How do the blinds attach to the frame at the sides and bottom?
A:
To keep out wind I would go with the Shutters. We do not recommend the blinds are used when it's too windy, they are more of a sunshade

Q:
Do the louvres crank open both ways (ie flip 180degres) or just one (ie to 90degrees)? If just one, on the 4x3 can I have each bank of louvres open in a different direction eg one for sunrise, other for sunset??
A:
The Louvers crank from flat to the upright (90deg), but do not flip over to the other side. You can adjust both banks of louvres independently

Q:
Hi , can the legs be shortened
A:
Possibly, but you would need to cut off and reattach the footplates at the base of the legs. Please note this is not covered by the warranty, so it's best to talk to a builder to get it right

Great extension

Very sturdy product. Some minor adjustments to legs to make roof fit along eaves and the colour matches trims along rest of the house. Have enjoyed using it as extended outdoor lounge.

Patio Cover Louvre 4x3

Great product. All went well erecting framework, but too a few louvre sections to get the sequence right, then away we went. Finishing touches just set it off.

Love it!

I purchased the 3 x 4 Louvre roof system and added shutters to either side. I have spent so much time outside this summer both during the day and the evening. 100% worth the investment and the team at Tradetested were super helpful - I would definitely recommend.

Louvre Roof System 10/10

Really happy with the preformance of this system. Went up easily, has been stress tested by some good ole Wellington winds ;-) When closed, keeps rain out no problem. Have not needed to bolt it down, which make it's movable (2 people required) for outside cleaning. Purchased with side blinds which provides addition sun and rain protection

Awesome Product

These are great value for money, fantastic quality and pretty easy to construct. The end result is a very classy looking sun shade!

Awesome addition

Ours is on a high exposed deck. No problem in strong winds & rain. Only rain comes in from sides with wind - still considering if/what type of walls we want. We installed flashing between house roof & pergola roof so we can finally leave lounge doors open in rain. Also looks great with matching black balustrades. Very happy.
