Product overview

This beautifully crafted 6m wide wall mounted patio cover is our largest model, perfect for creating the ultimate outdoor area.

Create a sheltered spot next to the pool, weatherproof the barbecue area, turn your deck into an extension of your living room, or even use it as a carport; whatever you need a cover for, this wall mounted unit is up to the job.

The powder coated aluminium construction is guaranteed to look great for years to come and is designed to stand up to most sheltered New Zealand conditions. The stylish ironsand finish fits well with most outdoor areas and will definitely have the neighbours asking where you bought it from.

The 8mm twin-wall polycarbonate roof panels are UV stabilised to prevent yellowing and the twin-wall construction gives superior temperature control, keeping things cool in the summer by blocking UV rays, while still allowing plenty of light through. When the weather does turn, the built-in gutters feature hidden outlets through the foot of each pole, letting the water disperse without the need for ugly pipework everywhere.

Installation is straightforward, while maintenance is minimal, leaving you to get on with enjoying maximum time entertaining friends and family, or just watching the world go by from the shady comfort of your new patio cover.

It’s a stylish, sturdy and versatile way to maximise your time spent enjoying your outdoor areas, order yours today.

Q:
Would it be possible to paint white?
A:
Yes it is. We would recommend discussing preparation requirements and which paint to use with a paint store or a painter.

Q:
If I purchase the 6m version can i attach a 3m version as well? Will it be leak proof?
A:
This product is not designed to be extended. You could place two units next to each other, but note there will be a gap between them you would need to cover with a custom flashing to make it "leakproof". Please note you may need to trim the base plates to fit the units right next to each other, any modifications to the frame are not covered by the product warranty.

Q:
Hi, is it possible to redirect the water from the roof to a water tank via from only one of the posts ( i.e: block the others?) And how would you connect the pipe to to the tank from the base of the post?
A:
Yes it should be easy enough to block the outlets (although we don't know if this will be adequate for heavier rain with only one outlet). You could drill and tap a fitting into the bottom of the post or similar.

Q:
I live near a golf course - would the flexi plastic handle a golf ball landing on it (bounce off) or would it crack/go through? Thanks
A:
It depends on the angle and force of impact, but generally we're confident it will stand up to this.

Q:
At what height is the wall mounting placed? The front poles being 243cm.. How much higher?
A:
The centreline of the wall mount should be at 2760mm.

Q:
Can a shade sail be attached to the posts? We have an upper deck this would suit and are wanting a shade sail over the lower deck. Thanks in advance.
A:
We generally wouldn't recommend it due to the high loads involved in tensioning the shade sail correctly.

Q:
How deep into the grounded should we concrete the posts in
A:
The posts have a flange and are designed to be bolted to a concrete or solid surface. You could concrete them into the ground however you would lose that height in the patio cover.

Q:
You say it has 5 degree fall, where does the water go, can you attach a gutter ?
A:
The gutter is integrated into the front bar, it then runs down through hidden channels in the posts and exits at the feet - it's pretty slick!

Q:
I'm building a wooden deck, half-metre off the ground. Piles and structural beams are done already. What supports are needed for under the three poles. Can they just go on the decking timber or do they need structural beam under them? Also where and how does the water come out from the internal system? Does it cope with heavy downpours.
A:
The feet bolt directly to the deck, reinforcing under the deck with extra material would be sensible, but you shouldn't need to add a structural beam. The water comes out at the feet of the posts, we haven't have any feedback complaining about the drainage capabilities, so it's definitely fine for most situations.

Patio Cover

Great product, quite strong and well constructed, with the posts a really good size to hold it all together. It has internal guttering and down pipes so no extras needed and the poly panels being three layered makes them strong, great to get the light, but cuts down on the heat.

Excellent cover for our new deck

This was a good value purchase compared to a much more expensive option we were quoted, but it looks fantastic and fits in well with our home. It's coping well with heavy rain, too!

Patio Cover

Great product. Very good quality. Perfect for our area. It did require reducing in width as the terrace is 2.7 metres but this was straight forward. Some of the bolts supplied were wrong size so purchased others. Overall very pleased indeed!

Awesome deck cover

Really happy with this cover for the price, significantly cheaper than a custom-built one. Doesn't block sun into the house and feels very sturdy even though we live in a windy area.

Good product but could be better.

Good product and it works well - stood firm in the cyclone we just experienced but I do feel my improvements we’re definitely required in them winds. The poly carb panels clip together but need reinforcement top and bottom to assure they don’t come out in high winds. But happy with the goods overall.

Pomy Bay of Plenty
Wall Mounted 6m Patio Cover

Looks good once assembled. Had to extend the deck about 300mm so I didn’t need to modify the cover. I would recommend using a 6mm thread tap when the machine screws get tight before they jamb or cause the threaded inserts to spin. It is much easier to fix with a thread tap than grinding the head off the screw, dismantling the section and removing the piece of bolt and trying to crimp the insert so it won’t spin. I assembled the cover in my own with a mobile scaffolding unit and a coupe of clamps. No problem installing the polycarbonate but I did make sure everything was square and level using a diagonal strop.
