I already have from you a greenworks battery electric chain saw and a 40v cordless strimmer (model 2101507)
A:
With Greenworks Tools, Batteries and Chargers you have to make the Volts. So your 40V battery and tool will not work with this 24V charger

Hi, do the Greenworks chargers have a fan on during charging? My Makita chargers do as lithium hates heat, the fan protects the battery while charging.
A:
The 24V charger does not have a fan, so you will need to make sure your batteries have cooled after use before you charge them

Q:
When plugged in and switched on, is there supposed to be an indicator light. And, prior to installing the battery after waiting one minute?
A:
There will only be an indicator light when the battery is on the charger. It flashes green when charging and it's solid green when fully charged.
