Why is the the product indoor only??
A:
The way this style of line is installed on the wall would struggle to hold on to some full sized sheets in a stiff breeze. It would be ok with smaller things and it's ideal for semi-enclosed sheltered spaces, check out the reviews for how other customers are using theirs.

Can you please explain how end is attached to opposite wall? Is there a permanent 'bar' over which the lines are attached and then removed? thanks

It attaches to the opposite wall using 2 hooks that screw in to the wall.

Terrible Product

This is the worst item I've ever bought from trade tested, cheaply made, the lines never hold tension and sag at different rates so you cannot make them all the same, also the lines are a very small diameter and things slide towards the inevitable sag in the middle so you can't use the full line.
