Product overview

For automatic control of up to six watering accessories when paired with the Gardena Water Control Master Timer (1892-20).

This intelligent solution is ideal when the available water quantity is insufficient for the simultaneous supply of all watering accessories.

Water Distributor can be flexibly adjusted to the conditions in your garden- non-required water outlets are simply deactivated using the setting lever. The distributor uses variance in pressure to switch between outlets - so as the timer interrupts the water supply at the set interval, this distributor switches outlets.

The Water Distributor transports the desired quantity to the right place. Simply mount the Water Distributor on the side of the house or on the ground it is secured on a ground plate and can be removed at any time.

As all water outlets are placed in one direction, the device takes up very little space. It is equipped with 26.5 mm (G ¾) male threads and is supplied with five Tap Connectors (Product code: 901) and three end caps.

I note that the maximum flow for this unit is 20L/hour. Would this be able to power inground lawn sprinklers?
A:
Sorry, the minimum flow rate is 20L/hour. Normal water main supply will be easily enough, and it will still have the power for inground lawn sprinklers

Q:
How does the control master timer communicate with this? Bluetooth or similar? And does this need a battery?
A:
No it's actually pressure controlled, so as the timer interrupts the water supply at the set interval, this distributor switches outlets. Check out the manual link at the end of the description for a better idea.

Is the pressure at the outlet enough to activate multiple sprinklers in series?
A:
Yes, as long as you have sufficient water pressure going into the distributor. This needs a minimum operating pressure of 1 bar and has a max of 6 bar

No you don't need to plug all 6.

Q:
I have the smart water control system and the water distributor automatic. Can these two work together so that one valve starts after the other when the schedule starts?
A:
Yes, they can. When the water starts the distributor will flow from the selected channel. When the water stops for a couple of seconds and then resumes the distributor swaps to the next available channel.

No, your feed would need to be installed post distributor - so tap - timer - distributor- in line plant feeder (or similar).

This is just to be used with the Gardena timers.

Will it work with other timers?
A:
The only timer we recommend for this is the GARDENA WATER CONTROL MASTER TIMER. It does work with out a timer but just as a manual water distributor.

Awesome device

I'm using this with a Gardena Water Control Master to water different areas in my garden each morning - works very well and I'm really happy with it. Currently I'm only using two zones, a soaker hose for the main vege garden and the misters in my Vegepod (with a pressure reducer). Initially I was trying to run my garden hose from this as well but found it a bit annoying to fiddle around with things, so added a twin tap connector, and everything is working perfectly :)

This system is difficult to operate. I have yet to get it to function as advertised. It operates the wrong hose.

Awesome watering setup

Paired with a timer, this distributor was easy to set up, and is watering all parts of a small native plant nursery in the early hours of the morning. Still easy to water any of the sectors manually during the day. Very tidy system, recommended.

Water Distributor

It's taken a while to set this system up properly. The instructions aren't the best, and it is set up with 13mm feed & distribute lines. The lines have reduced the pressure from the 19mm main piping I have to each garden. However, it does do exactly what it says it will do do so I'm pretty pleased with it.
