Promotes Drainage Pot toes provide air flow under pots and planters which allows the soil to dry out completely between watering. This can be especially handy with specific plant species that don't favour constantly damp soil, which can be caused by pooling of water with regular pot saucers. The air flow that is created from pot toes are also very healthy for the roots of the potted plants.
