Product overview

Fulfil your gardening dreams and effortlessly set up an instant raised garden bed with this handy fabric planter.

Quick and easy to set up, this garden bed can be ready to go in a jiffy - no screws, no nails, no tools, no stakes, no assembly required, simply unfold, fill with soil & you're good to go!

These felt-like, sustainable fabric garden beds are reusable & allow for great aeration so your plants will not suffer from heat build-up or overwatering. Made with porous fabric that air-prunes plant roots, resulting in a robust and healthy root system.

With 8 pocket sections, you can easily seperate your various plants and quickly distinguish each crop when it comes to picking your herbs or veggies. The sturdy dividers also mean this bed has no trouble standing upright, even with little soil in it.

Traditional garden beds block up to 80% of air ventilation, often leading to weaker or circled root systems. With the combination of air root pruning creating a better root structure and the aeration of the root zone, your plants can reach their full potential, in an eco friendly bed.

These garden beds are made from a felt fabric that is non-woven and BPA free. This felt provides a safe growing medium that is PH neutral, and non-reactive.

Q:
Are the pockets independent i.e. can one side be filled only, so that it takes up only 1.8 m x 45cm, leaving the other side folded up?
A:
The pockets are not independent. You can use one side and fold up the other half but you may have some soil spill through

Fabric garden beds

This is the third time I have reviewed this product; wanted to update to a year later. The beds are doing so well we have purchased more. We have been harvesting food all year since the first bed was put in. Through the summer we grew brassicas with the help of some netting to keep the white butterflies off, and we had an amazing crop of Brussels sprouts this winter - the beds produce really well. This spring I have topped them up with more compost and they are planted up for the summer crop - we are still harvesting broad beans and leeks from winter. Need to mulch and water well in summer.

Fabric pocket garden

I have put this on top of two pallets to make a higher garden and so easy to work at. Strawberries lettuce and tomato have been planted. No sign of slugs or snails gaining access over the fabric. Great. Only very small minus is the amount of soil needed!! Would recommend.

Love this

Was so easy to set up, I was able to also buy netting to cover and so have been able to grow brassicas all through the summer - only thing to be aware of is that they dry out more quickly than a solid sided bed would so remember to water well regularly.

Convenient and manageable

It is early days but I have planted out my two raised beds with vegetables for the spring and summer and all are growing well. They took some filling, but we managed with excess soil from our garden, home compost and a few bags of vege garden mix from the garden centre. Everything is growing beautifully and we are already harvesting lettuce leaves for salads. I have also purchased hoops and netting to cover and keep off the birds and butterflies and that is working well too.

Fabric Raised Garden Beds

Excellent idea, the properties of the beds make it an adaptable addition to my garden where I'm unable to plant items. Interesting what they are made of to do I feel that I'm doing my bit for the environment by using them. Now planning to purchase several more.
