Hyundai Wood Chipper 7HP 180

After reading some of the reviews I didn't expect much from this chipper but I have to say I am pretty happy with it. It chomps up everything I've put through it altho I have been realistic and as long as the wood isn't to dry or large it has no problems. There are only 2 issues I have and they are typical of the more budget models you'll buy and that is design could be better with a few small modifications. 1, if it does get a jamb and stall you need to undo the bolts to the hopper to clean it out, more expensive models have a tool free option. 2, at the bottom of the hopper there is a steel plate welded to it that sticks out 10mm inside and if you have a branch that has a bend in it can get stuck on that weld and can get quite annoying which in future I'm going to fix but other than that I think it's great.

Starts easily. Performs well. Chips finer than my electric mulcher & in the fraction of the time.

this is a great product. It chipped up around 3 cubic meters of tree trimmings which my neighbour used for mulch

This shredder is more than suitable for the property we have. Must admit it was a learning experience at first. Only one point is that the wood is best chipped when still green and don’t add a lot of leafy stuff too often. Otherwise, I am more than happy with the purchase.

Has done all asked of it.Works best on softer material doubt it would like manuka ,but for around the yard is great.Will make orchard pruning a lot easier

Chipper was better than I expected. 40 mm was a bit big but 30 and under was fine. Chipped better with foliage on the branches Easy to start and manouvre. Overall happy

This product under delivers in my view. I have adjusted everything several times in order to chip efficiently but it clogs continuously. The material being chipped is light hedge clippings. I have followed instructions. Very disappointed.

Have had this chipper for a while ,haven't used it more than 6 times ,we spend all our time unblocking it . Have tried on wet and dry twigs etc.

Have attempted to use this for over a year now. Completely useless, doesn’t mulch, has trouble with all kinds of branches even under the recommended size, anything slightly small doesn’t chip but goes through and stays as long sticks (photo added) Consistently having to open each nut to clear it out after about every 3-4 branches you put in. The safety cover rattled off each time no matter how tight the screws are so friggin hot to touch. I’m so upset with this purchase they only thing I’ve gained is it takes up room in the shed... not a good thing
