This G-MAX 40V Long Reach Hedge Trimmer from Greenworks will make short work of all your overgrown hedges and, with a maximum reach of 2m, you’ll be able to do it all with your feet safely on the ground.

Powered by the interchangeable G-MAX 40V Lithium-ion battery system which delivers longer run time, higher performance, and greater output on all G-MAX tools, it has all the power of your old petrol unit without the noise and pollution (battery and charger sold separately).
The 51cm laser-cut dual-sided steel blade gives super smooth cuts and can deal with the gnarliest privet up to 18mm in diameter. The head can pivot through 125° into 7 different positions for total flexibility, letting you can cover all the angles including the underside of your hedge.
Cushioned over-mould handles and a full loop front switch provide comfort and, when combined with smooth G-MAX 40V power, noise and vibrations are kept incredibly low.
This lightweight design includes safety features like dual switches to prevent accidental usage and a safety brake.

I love my Greenworks garden tools. I have another smaller 18v hedge trimmer that has mostly been okay, but the added power of this one has made my job so much easier. I still get the loopers out for some thick branches but for the most part this hedge trimmer is all I need now. It is a little tiring for long usages, but I imagine it would be easier with a strap.
Just used this great product and it cut an hour off my usual headge trimming. No ladders no extension cord getting in the way. Only quam was no strap supplied but no big deal. Thanks

Love my long reach hedge trimmer...it is lightweight, easy to handle and the battery makes starting soooo easy. Buying this has been a gamechanger for my battle with a long, high hedge. ...and now, at last Im winning!! Yaaaay!

works well and does a good job love it thank you
This tool seems great at the start and is well made. But about a year into owning it (with limited use) I discovered that it jambs regularly requiring me to smack with a hammer the end of one blade to unfreeze it. I have tried to lube it, take it apart to see what might need to be adjusted, I have cleaned and lubed the blade but no luck.

I have the Greenworks mower & strimmer which do great work and this strimmer is no different- does a great job and you'll be hard-pressed to run the battery out. Only a minor point to note: it's a tiny bit on the heavy side if you are lacking a bit of upper-body strength. Other than that, totally worth the money.

Used it for the first time and halved my usual time for cutting our 3m high hedge, being to alter the head angle is brilliant and didn't seem to heavy.
