Q:
How do you secure it in the ground?
A:
There are quite a few options, it depends where you want to put it really. You could push it into the ground, use a peg and tie down system, concrete it in, drill and bolt it to wood etc.

Edwardian Arch

We bought this arch 6 and a half years ago. Had it staked into the ground for stability. Within a short time rust appeared at framework junctures, There is now full decay at these junctures and surrounding areas. This is not patina. We dont think it is value for money. Outside garden items such as archways need to be quality steel. We expected greater longevity and strength than this.

Garden arch

Perfect for my needs. Sturdy and good looking. Only just put in place so cannot comment on durability.

Garden Arch Steel Edwardian

So far it seems better than most metal archways I have used. Went together easily. The legs are very short and provide no stability so we had to bolt onto longer supports. I expect it will start to rust very quickly as have others as the paint finish appears to be the same as those.

Amazing Arch

This was very easy to assemble. I could move it around in 3 parts without an issue beforehand which made it easy to store before I put it up. It is sturdy and looks amazing in my garden. I have buried 40cm of one side in my raised garden to keep is strong in the wind. Very pleased with this purchase.

Second faulty product

Problem of not being able to support itself. Reading other reviews it seems many people have had similar issues so this seems to be quite a common fault.

Faulty product

Arch unable to support itself due to loose & wobbly connection between top of arch and supporting legs.

Nice one!

This garden arch is easy to put up and well worth the money spent. It can be a little wobbly so we've attached it to something sturdy.
