Skellerup has been building Red Band gumboots by hand using the original Skellerup specifications and formulations for over 50 years - that's one of the reasons why they've become a kiwi icon.
On average each pair of boots is made up of 38 individual components and 6 different rubber formulations.

There's a reason Redbands are a kiwi icon and so far the only brand that survives our busy outdoorsy kids rough and tumble. Regrettably they are not as wide in the toe as they used to make them.
