Gardena Weed Puller

We had an issue with dandelions in our lawn and weed'n'feed wasn't quite cutting it. I purchased this tool and it is so easy (and quite therapeutic!) to use. The lawn is now looking revitalised and we are happy. It's well made and sturdy and is fit for purpose.

Best option for extracting stubborn weeds in the lawn without leaving unsightly holes. Also handy for gardeners who cannot kneel down, have difficulty in pulling or unable to grip tools. The uniform hole it does leave, can be filled with sand to aerate the area.

I am very pleased with the weed puller. Rugged and long lasting. After weeds have been pulled, the small hole left only requires a smidgen of top soil and perhaps a sprinkling of grass seed.

Works well on single weeds. Not so good where there is a tight cluster of weeds but that was to be expected. This tool would suit someone who likes to maintain their lawns to a high standard.

The tool is of robust construction and does extract the weed with minimal effort. Better than being down on your hands and knees with a knife. However, subject to the depth of the weed root, I have noted the root tip can be left in the ground. This is subject to the soil consistency and size of weed. The extracted weed on many occasions requires help to release it from the jaws. You will have to back fill having removed the weed.

Great product, easy to use, and simple to operate - would definitely recommend!

We have a little dog in the back so didn't want to use weed killers and this tool seemed like the best alternative option. I think it does exactly what it was meant to do. It took me a few stabs to get it in the right location on the broadleaf weed but I eventually got there. The weeds are gone but because there was so many my yard looks like a battle ground for moles. Lol

Simply awesome!

I was disappointed in the product. The quality is fine, but I find the tines are too close together and difficult to place over the root of the plant. Also. possibly as a result of the wet weather, I find it hard to eject the gluggy lump of soil that comes up with each pull. Frustrating!
